We start with...

Assessing Student Starting Points

We will use a variety of assessments to gauge each student's knowledge and skill levels. Using these tools to identify areas for support and growth including statistical and portfolio based assessments.

We continue to grow our students with ongoing assessments

Roots for Rockets believes EVERYONE

can learn and love science! We plan regular assessments using portfolios, projects, presentations, and other tools that help students show their successes, track their mastery, while allowing for personal continuous improvement.

Interactive & Creative Curriculum

The curriculum incorporates interactive lessons that promote student involvement through creative activities and can be integrated into larger cross curricular projects. STEM can not only make learning enjoyable but also encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Real World Relevance

Projects are designed to be relatable, relevant

and aspirational to the world around modern students' IWes. We seek to connect STEM

concepts to real-world applications. This

relevance boosts motivation and helps students

see the value of what they are learning.

Collaborative learning Opportunities

The program encourages collaboration among students through group projects, fostering teamwork and communication skills. This collaborative approach enhances the learning experience and builds social skills.
